Dr. Kyle “Simi” Simkovich grew up in Southern California in the Los Angeles area where he spent most of his time playing soccer and running cross country. Throughout the years his passion for medicine and athletics led him to attending Azusa Pacific University where he graduated with his Bachelors in Athletic Training. Dr. Simi went on to pass the Board of Certification exam for Athletic Trainers. He additionally completed his Masters degree from Fresno Pacific University. Most recently he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences. With 12+ years of experience, Dr. Simi has served in many capacities including Head Athletic Trainer for the Real Monarchs USL, and assisting Real Salt Lake MLS. Previously he has served as Head Athletic Trainer for Orange County Soccer Club USL in their inaugural year and development of their sports medicine department. Past experience includes work at the NCAA, NAIA, and High School Athletics level. Most recently he has served as an Athletic Trainer for Angel City FC NWSL and LAFC Academy. As a previous foster child in Los Angeles, Simi greatly enjoys giving back and providing mentoring opportunities to current and past foster youth.
